In 2025 Mark Wood and the Parrot Head Band will continue to celebrate the life and music of Jimmy Buffett at shows around the country. We have added songs from Jimmy's last record, Equal Strain on All Parts like Bubbles Up and My Gummy Just Kicked in and will be finishing our shows with an encore of Jimmy’s "Lovely Cruise", the perfect send off!

On behalf of the band, I would like to invite you all to come and see our Mark Wood and the Parrot Head Band Shows and help us celebrate the amazing life and legacy of one of the consummate singer/songwriters of our lifetime! I've been playing Jimmy Buffett’s music since 1976 and the band has been playing together since 1995. We have opened for Jimmy at Verizon Amphitheater, played with Coral Reefer Band members and they have played with us. I guarantee that you will have a great time at the show. It’s a wonderful way to begin to come to grips with Jimmy's passing; all of us together, singing and reliving Jimmy’s stories. What I have come to realize is that even though Jimmy's not here with us in body, his spirit lives on in the legacy of his stories, his songs and in each and every one of us who have loved, lived and experienced them in our own personal way! RIP Jimmy and thanks for simply being you. We’ll see you all at a show at a town near you!
